Schott ASI®-OEM Amorphous silicon small solarcells.
Strong modules for small applications
The ASI®-OEM solar modules are particularly suitable for small electronics applications. The modules consist of series-connected thin-film solar cells made of amorphous silicon (ASI®), which lie next to one another in strips.
The highly light-sensitive solar cells are mounted on stable frameless glass and are protected against external influences. The electrical connection is made via soldering points.
To achieve the best outputs with different light conditions the modules are optimised in two types:
Outdoor (Oo) – cell construction ideal for the daylight spectrum and with lasting high output
Indoor (Oi) – for weak light conditions and artificial light even below 200 LUX
